addicted to Norco
I want to stop but don't know how. I do not want to experience the withdrawl symptoms. If I go too long without taking pills now I start feeling it. I take anywhere from 5 to 8 (10/325) at a time 2-3 times a day. HELP
Welcome. I don't know anything about Norco. I am an alcoholic, but if you are having bad withdrawal symptoms, you should probably see a Doctor or go to the ER. There is also a forum for substance abuse on here that might offer more help than I can. Hang in there.
Welcome to SR!
What kind of symptoms are you having when you don't use?
I'm a recovering opiate addict who had an enormous habit but by the Grace of God, I have almost four and a half years Clean & Sober. It can be done. If at all possible, please don't be alone while trying to come off of any kind of drugs or alcohol. Withdrawls can get nasty and some can be life threatening. Am I trying to scare you? Yes! Please go straight to the ER if you begin feeling like your heart won't stop racing, you have diarrhea or a lot of vomiting because you can become dehydrated pretty easily. And don't try to use any Benzos or any other drugs to self medicate because this will more than likely make things a lot worse. We've self medicated for too long, that's what got us here in the first place.
I hope you'll come back and let us know how you're doing.
God Bless
