Hello All, I'm new here

Hello, My name is George, and I'm an alcoholic. I have been sober for 32 days and counting. I am a resident of Northeast Ohio and am looking forward to spending some time here. Looks like a great group of people.

If there is anyone from Raleigh, NC here that can lend me a hand, I am going to be in your fine city next week (Jan 4th thru 10th...I think those are the dates). I am going to be attending a trade show at the Convention Center and will be staying at the Embassy Suites on Creedmore without a vehicle and would like to get to a meeting or two int he evenings to help keep the squirrels out of my head. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have contacted the Releigh office of AA and have not heard back yet.

Gee look up AA in that area and give them a call if you do not find some one here. You are doing the right thing and covering your butt while out of town. Congrats on the 32 days!!!

Congrats on your sobriety! This is a great place for support, there are lots of knowledgeable helpful folks here. Chat is a good place when you want to talk but can't make it to a meetings.

You sure live in a beautiful place. Miss that drive on River Road, bet it is pretty this time of year.
