My story

I have allways been an alcohlic from as far back ass i can remember
i can still remember the first time i got wasted i was 14
me and a mate saved ower school diner money and got 2 bottels of cider each.

owers later i was found in the gutter by a good samariton how took me home
my mate carnt remember much ither.
that caryed on till i got a job and i got wasted ass often as possibull
evey day

I was so ill in the morrnings i was always looking for somthing to hellp me get through the day so i could work.
thats when i found opiats

i was about 23 and a year later i was only doing opiats no alchole at all.
that mess lasted for 15 years

i got a methadon script within 6 monthes off starting herowin but it was never anoff

till it was put up 7 years ago to a large amount
I tried taking herowin on top for a year untill i finaly realized it did nothing at all and i was just wasting my money

I couldent even drink on top off it
so for the nexst five years or so i just took meth

And boy did my life change i got all the trust back from famaly and frends
I did all my house up .its only very small but i love it now'

I had nothing for 15 years just gave the dealers all my hard ernd money
but 2 years ago that wasent enoff

I went to detox to get off the meth
that was 8 mothes ago and im still free to this day

I say free because thats how i feal im free off the ball and chain
and hopfully i will live my life the same as i have done for the last 5 years.

Thanks for sharing. Congrats on 8 months! Meth is evil--period. I have been clean from meth for over 2 years now. There is hope. We do recover.

It took approximately 2 months before I really started to feel "normal" again. Recovery is a process. From what I do remember, it was about 50+ days before I started to feel better mentally, physically etc.
