I never have to drink/drug again.
There seems to be a lot of negativity on SR here lately, so I just wanted to post that I’m trying to keep it simple.
We never have to drink/drug again.
I choose to work AA, SR, and IOP, but…it doesn’t matter what recovery program we choose. It only matters that we are completely honest with ourselves, that we take action, and that we help others with the same problems.
I never have to drink/drug again. How freak’n awesome is that?!

Thanks Kjell...great post. I'm tryin to keep it simple, too..not to get ahead of myself, or think too far in the future. I'll deal with that later. Like New Years Eve, for example..that oughtta be a trip...no one deserves to watch Ryan Seacrest sober. But, that night will come and I'll do everything I usually do..just without the drinks. Simple, right?
