Prayers Needed~

A Family friend who is like a second Mother to me is in the hospital. From what I've been told she purposely took way too many pills and has been unconscious for 2 days, is on a ventilator and they have done a brain scan to see if any activity is going on but no results as of yet.

Please keep her and the Family in your prayers. I've knows this woman since I was 10 years old, her Sons are like my Brothers and they need all the prayers they can get. I really appreciate the support, I know how at SR our prayers can perform miracles.

XOXO~

It doesn't look good guys. I can't even imagine what her Sons are going through right now. She's still unconscious and they have yet to hear from the Doctor, said he will speak to the Family tomorrow about her results. I pray there is still brain activity and she has a chance to wake up, but honestly, it looks bad.

Thank you for your continued prayers. I truly appreciate them~

OMG, my Mom just called me and told me she opened her eyes!!!! Her Son called my Mom and told her and asked her to let me know. I'm so happy and truly in shock! I pray she continues to get better, I mean she's not 100% by any means but to open her eyes is a good sign, right? I wonder if she heard us talking to her...I like to think she did =)

All I can say right now is that if I ever had any doubts, right now God is showing me just how powerful he is. Keep the prayers coming! Thank you and Love you guys so much for your support!

(((Mariposa))) - in all my years of nursing, I always felt that no matter what, no matter how severe the brain damage, they could always "hear" you. Even when my stepsister was declared brain dead, I felt HP allowed her to "hear" us.

I'm glad she opened her eyes and hope she continues to show improvement.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Just spoke to my Dad. He said they went to see her but were unable to. However they spoke to her Son for about an hour, apparently she's been opening her eyes and blinking. BUT the scan showed minimal brain activity, they are supposed to do another one tomorrow I believe. They don't know if the opening of her eyes and blinking are involuntary or if she's doing it, so there really is nothing new on her condition.

I'm trying to keep my hopes up, but I really don't know what to think. I know this is out of our hands and that whatever God has planned for her is what will happen. So why is it so hard? Please continue to keep her in your prayers, that's all we can do.
