Need help and direction,...plz

The direction I need is if this is the right place to post this thread.
The help I need is some serious advice about getting off oxycontin once and for all. I'm desperate,(sp?), and would appreciate ANY info received. Where would I post for advice?
Thank You, Gnadd

Hi gnadd

Posting here is fine but you might get quicker results posting in our substance abuse forum
Substance Abuse - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

The short answer is...you'll find a lot of support here, but we can't give you medical advice.

Go see your doctor - the best advice comes from them.

Welcome, Gnadd...

It's slow right about now, give it a few hours...

Here's the other forum I was talking about:

Substance Abuse - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

You can try posting something similar in both... or read up in there.

You're welcome here too--don't get me wrong--just that they might have more specific answers already posted over there. Might have some other interesting stuff you haven't thought to ask yet too... that happens to me a bunch.

Take care of yourself, now.
TB

ETA: oops. sorry Dee...

EETA: might try being more specific, too, in the question... how you said it in chat for example. we don't do medical here either... but they might have answers for your day-3 question...

Welcome - please look up online the number to a detox program or very least and addictionologist. There you will get the medical help you will need. Good luck (hug).
