Unsure where to post
Hi,
I'm new and am very overwhelmed by these forums. I have significant health problems and do not have the ability or energy to spend several hours trying to figure it out. I didn't want to upset people by posting in the wrong place, so I'd appreciate if someone could tell me where the proper place to post this question is:
I have joined not for myself but to try to help a family member, and I am just looking for advice from fellow sufferers and survivors on some good books I can buy (I'll explain specifically what I'm looking for in the actual thread).

Hello and welcome. We have 2 great forums for Friends & Family- one for Friends and Family of Alcoholics, the other for Friends and Family of Substance Abusers. Both are great places to learn more about how the disease of addiction affects the family and extended family. I'm sure you will find good support there.
