over 2 months...

Hello all,

I have been sober for over 2 months. The last five weeks have been challenging- my bf & I broke up and I was devastated. But strangely, I have absolutely zero desire to drink, and am feeling really strong in my commitment to sobriety. Drinking is just not an option. I have no desire. And life is starting to look good too, in spite of the breakup, etc. I have also been eating very healthily and exercising, and I feel like that is really helping everything.

Anyways, thought I'd share, have a great day

Congratulations on over 2 months of sobriety and I have to agree that the ups and downs of our lives are definitely handled better when we are sober. Thanks for sharing.

Easier said than done; but it's all about replacin those bad habbits with good ones, whether it's individual thoughts (craving) or an overt action (using). Sounds like you're doing great. Keep us posted. Vigorous exercise works great for alot of people and gives you a natural healthy high. I'm supprised we don't have a 12 step program for exercise nuts!
