New to the Board
Hello all I am a 33 daughter of guess what... an alcoholic, but don't say that word around the family because no one knows...LOL. No really I have just recently began to face the reality of my relationship or rather lack of with my father. For ten years I was away from all this crap since I was 16 and I returned several years ago. My childhood family its nuts and I am one sick puppy... I am very happily married to a wonderful and supportive man and we have to great little boys. But this past week my father really crossed the line and I am having great difficulty in deciding how to handle this situation. I hope to find a way to start healing and become whole for proably the first time. Sorry for the novel. I will try to keep it short in the future. thanks

Welcome to Soberrecovery! Make yourself at home.
If you can find a 12 step meeting in your area you would love it. ACOA, Alanon or CODA...they are all the same principles it it could help you to heal.
Hugs,
JT
