I'm home!
I'm home!
Hi everyone! I got home about 12 hours ago after 21 1/2 days in residential treatment. I'm 32 days sober, and set up for 6 weeks of outpatient group things, three hours a night, three nights a week. I also found out in treatment that I live literally next door to a place that hosts AA meetings every day.
There's plenty I'd like to share, but I'm just coming down with the head cold that had been making it through all us clients - my brain hurts when I weakly cough, blech.
SR is going to be one of the cornerstones of the sober network I've begun to build. My next big goal is to find a sponsor. But first things first: lots of fluids and rest. And YAY! I finally get to sleep in! No more loudspeaker announcements at 7:30 am announcing breakfast and morning meds
Take care everyone!

Oh, that's just wonderful! Welcome home and hang on to that shining, hopeful attitude- I so wish the best for you and am glad you are focusing on laying a strong foundation for your recovery. Follow directions now and build strong relationships in the fellowship- it'll serve you well for the rest of your life.
Grats on your 30+ days! Personally I could really use loudspeaker announcements at 7:30 am announcing breakfast and morning meds. Trying to train my dog to do it, but he turns it into 7:30 am lets go play ball.
