Well my son went 14 days without drinking. Broke up with his girlfriend
on the 15th and started back. I took him to AA on Thursday and he seemed a little better. Haven't talked to him since Saturday and Saturday he sounded really really good. He had gotten a job and has worked for a week now but yesterday his car motor blew up. Can't get him on the phone now. Have tried several times. He is so beaten down right now. I fear for his life. I honestly don't know if he will do something to himself. He just sits at home, drinks and cries. I feel so helpless.

i think maybe there is something in this little video for you...it's a mother and daughter telling of their journey together...much wisdom and honesty from both...i loved it...
