i'm in the same boat but worse

ok so i have abused weed and didnt drink alot of water and had an infection and now i have nerve problems like my eye, arm and leg are more pushed back.. and i know this is due to neuropathy problem.. the thing is it is not reallly bad but slight different than the other side of my body.. does that heal or am i just ****** and i have to deal with it?!? i mean i only abused ciggs and weed. i have not done anything else but i also had a problem with eating healthy and drinking water but now i have been clean for 2 months of both ciggs and weed and have been eating alot of good food like fish, salads, fish oil. omega 3 6 9 all that.. i have noticed a difference in the behaviour but no difference in my physical symptoms please someone help answer this because when i visited the doctors they said everything looks fine ive done bone scans, emg's for nerves, blood tests , stomach, everything other than mri because the doctors are two cheap to do it. but it felt like i had a cloud over my brain and my brain was frozen and now these symptoms are going away (the zoning out etc) i can think better but i have 3 courses left to finish college and i'm ashamed to go to school because everyone knows me and when i went last they all laugh and stuff..

Welcome....

Your post was on a old thread in our Alcoholism Forum.
I moved it out so more members would be able to see your concerns.

The info on the other thread was about alcohol
and had nothing to do with weed or cigarettes.

Good to see a new member
Well done on your clean time...

Hi lifeisamazing

I smoked marijuana for 20 years, but I'm not familiar with any of those symptoms.

I'm glad the problem isn't really bad, but if it's causing you distress and your doctor isn't giving you the answers or attention you want, then maybe you need a second opinion?

IMO, anything that keeps you from college needs attention
I hope others here can help you some more -
Welcome to SR

D

Finish high school, don't smoke any more weed or cigs.

Live a clean/sober life.

I believe you will find that good things begin to happen.

Keep coming back.

I'm glad that you are clean and sober and feeling better.

You would do well to get a second opinion on the physical problems you are experiencing.
