Gratitude..
Gratitude..
will change your attitude.. (old A.A. saying) and very true too! i just can't believe how fast time is going.. i am close to 1,000 days clean and sober now.. it is just another day today..but.. i feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude to have another chance to live the rest of my life sober.. it is a gift!
That was so meaningful. 1000 days wow you must be so proud of yourself.
I like the idea of the gift of being sober and it's one we can only give to ourselves, no waiting to receive it from anybody else.
Thank you.

I have also heard that it is impossible to drink if one keeps an "ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE!"
In early sobrity it helps to carry a 3X5 card with things we are grateful for that we know we will lose if we drink, At the top of the list is always being sober!
I do not care who you are or what is happening or how long one has been sober, there are enough things to always be grateful for to fill a 3X5 card.
Focusing on the posotive is always beeter then focusing on the negative for me.

Holy Schnikeys Batman, 1000 is super. You're a great example to the rest of us.
Best of luck.
Doug
PS: I just noticed the dumb smiley on the right that gave you a 9.9, I think I'll have a talk with him.
