Yelling in Your Sleep
Anyone ever wake themselves up in the middle of the night actually yelling at "the addict" or "the alcoholic" in a dream?
I did this two or three times last night after having talked to the addicted person the past three days. I must have been pretty stressed out from that contact to wake myself up yelling at him.
Weird. Just thought I'd ask.

oh yeah I have those dreams...alot lately now that I think about it.
I find out my A is using and am so broken and discover his lies.
Then I yell and cry and most of the time wake myself up or someone hears me.
Even though he's got six months clean, when I have those dreams, I treat him mean when I talk to him.
Its like I got hurt all over again.
You're not alone lol.

Obtained from An Online Guide To Dream Interpretation......
Yelling
To dream that you or someone is yelling, represents repressed anger that need to be expressed. If you are yelling and no one hears, then it suggests that you are being ignored. You feel that your voice does not matter or that your opinion doesn't count.
Given the circumstances, I would say this makes sense. I'm not sure how much I believe this website but hey, it's all good to at least give some explanation to our dreams.

the week before I went to my final court date for the divorce/property settlement issues - I kept dreaming that the Judge ordered me to go back to my ex.
I dreamed this like 5 or 6 nights in a row -
it was horrible.
I woke up sick to my stomach and full of fear. A few people I told laughed about it - some of my friends who truly understood - looked at me with tears in their eyes.
They understood how scared I still was.
I hate to dream.
I love it when I don't even remember if I dream or not.
HUGS to you - wishing you peace as you sleep!

I've never had that happen that I know of.
I do not remember any of my dreams anymore. None. I assume I have them because I don't take any medications or anything that would keep me from dreaming. Weird now that I think of it.
