My phone was supposed to be turned off today, but it is still on. And I looked at the balance due, and now it is zero dollars.

Don't know why this happened, but I suspect HP is looking out for me. My sponsor said that things like this happen when you're going down the right path. I am happy and grateful, but a little confused.

Sounds like a nice God-shot and I choose not to question those, just grateful when they happen. And it seems like the longer I'm in recovery and practice the principles, my life is showered with gifts like that.

And then there's that slogan we use "this too shall pass" which goes for the good as well as the bad sometimes.
