Cancer, Alcohol, Relapse
I have been relapsing and hiding it from everyone for the last year. Well, while I thought I was being so clever, my body wasn't deceived.
I have a weird mole on my breast and, of course, when I see something I start to ask, "Does having 3-5 drinks a day really impact me?" Stupid thinking, but very alcoholic thinking.
Lots of research on the relationship between liver, breast, oral cancer and alcohol.
Was the relapse worth having a cancer scare?

I used to have a lot of anxiety issues when I was drinking. Well, I still do, but they don't impact me the same way. But, when I was drinking, I worried about everything regarding my health. Sadly, the more I worried, the more afraid I was to stop drinking and face my life.
I hope you get the mole checked auxillo - it's much better to do that, than play doctor on the internet
I used to worry a lot - I still do LOL - but I find without the warped perspective of drinking I can usually keep it 'real' these days...if I have a problem or a worry, I see to it best I can ASAP.
Molescans are very simple - get it checked out

I second a doctor visit.
I was worried I destroyed my heart from drinking (I was having funky palpitations--frequently). I saw a cardiologist and got an echo. Turns out the palpitations are harmless...but what a relief to know.
Now with BP meds I rarely have them.

From my own experience i would get it checked out, if you have seen any of my posts thats all i seem to do is worry over things sinse quitting, i have been to doctors about 5/6 times now, they must think i am mad because i say the same thing everytime i go in there, and they same they same thing back, " its the withdrwal from alcohol it will pass". However i beleve your better off getting it looked at, if your not happy with first assesment, then go back again.
Thats my opinion.
