I saw a reference, but I have not seen this thread? I will be 4 weeks sober tomorrow, and I know SR has helped me maintain the strength needed during this early stage of recovery. Thanks to all of you !
I also bought my 1st Big Book today and it is a treasure. I have been going to AA off and on since 1996 ( sometimes by choice and sometimes by force )
The forced meetings (dui, family pressure) were in the beginning, and were not so comfortable) have given way to choice meetings and I have learned so much about alcohol in the process. It is certainly no one's friend, and I am feeling positive that my last relapse will be my last relapse.

The August thread is in the Daily Support Forum, Krylon...once threads reach a Part Two, Anna puts them there - it makes it easier all round
