I recommend the following:

Of course the BB
Sober Living
First Year of Sobriety- When All that Changes is Everything
The Feeling Good Handbook- this book is based on cognitive therapy and it is excellent. It is kind of like a workbook also
24 Hours a Day
Refelections

books

BB, also Experience, Strength and Hope which is a collection of stories deleted from previous versions of the BB.

When Things Fall Apart is a fabulous book by Pema Chodron, an American Buddhist nun - it's not technically a recovery book but I've found it very helpful in the past few weeks.

"The Seat of the Soul" by Gary Zukav. This book showed me a way to reconnect with my spiritual self, which was essential for me to begin to recover.

"A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle. Simply an amazing book.

Speaking of a good memoir from a recovered alkie..."Dry" by Augusten Burroughs is one of the best books, recovery or otherwise, that I've read in my life. Check it out.

I haven't read very many yet but the one I have read is Becoming your own parent by Dennis wholey. Its about adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional families.
I'm always looking for more books to help me.

This topic is great thanks for posting.
