day3anyoneelse?

Today is day 3. Met with my sponsor, went to my third meeting in a row, and came up with an early plan for the next few weeks.

Even though I'm crazing alcohal and just don't feel right, I do believe this is going to work this time.

Any other newbies out there wanna share what's working for them? Or thoughts on early (very) sobriety? Let's do this together!

Kjell

Good for you K! I was on day 3 until last night and had a super bad day today because of it. Took it out on others and all that crap.
Before that it was 16 in June.
I don't know what the average is but 3 days seems to be the first big hump for me. After that it feels a little easier. My thoughts feel more clear and, well, like my thoughts and not the alcohol's.
The withdrawal symptoms were what got me last night. Headache, no sleep.... So watch out for that. There are tons of healthy ways to aleviate whatever withdrawals you're experiencing.
Right now I'm gluing my eyes to this website, cuddling with my cat and concentrating very hard on not listening to the voice that tells me the things that make me want to drink. Also thinking about getting Chinese takeout
Keep up the good work!
