My first "real" Day One
I'm a bit of an emotional wreck right now, coming up on my witching hour of Day ONE of my journey. I've stopped before, I don't know if this time will be different, but reading all of your inspirational posts is already helping. I drink up to two bottles of wine a night at least four nights a week. Sometimes with a cocktail or couple beers thrown in. Can't remember the last time it was "fun" - it was just any old night of the week.
I hope I can do this so my kids get their parent back.
Wish me luck.

I am right there with you, it is my day one too, and as 5:00 draws closer, it's harder and harder to stop thinking about the thought of not drinking when I get home.
I know how you feel, it's not fun, or enjoyable anymore, it's a routine and a viscious cycle.
I wish you all the luck and strength in the world.

Welcome! I am new myself and am on day 2! I'm also on an emotional roller coaster today but physically I feel better than I have in a long time. I am with you that my drinking just became routine and it was more habit than anything else. I drank my miller lite with everything I did (except work). At home I would vacuum with 1 hand and miller lite in the other. So today I feel just a little bit lost. Its my day off and normally I would be cleaning house like crazy having my beer. Working without it, has been slow going today but I'm taking it one step at a time.
Again welcome, best wishes!
Have A Magical Day!

I AM SO AFRAID THAT ONE DAY I WILL LOOSE MY CHILDREN TO THIS HORID DRUG!!!!!! PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO DO THIS AND STAY OFF PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I AM WILLING TO TRY ANYTHING TO WIN THIS BATTLE. GOOD LUCK AND IF I CAN BE OF ANY ASSISTANCE LET ME KNOW!!!! MISERABLE AND CONFUSED!!!
