Moved Out, Moved In, Moved On
Moved Out, Moved In, Moved On
Settled, more or less, into my apartment yesterday. Amazing how many things need doing but I stayed busy which is a good thing. Worked for hours setting up wireless connectivity for my laptop. Got my end done but my ISP is screwing up their end so I'm relying on my work computer. Quiet a change from a nice home to a little cheap one bedroom place but I've decorated it with sobriety and freedom. I could actually put things where I wanted them without criticism or complaint. Went to bed without hearing another litany of my sins. Got up without facing more of the same. I love the smell of liberation in the morning. I used top be afraid if I lived on my own again my drinking would destroy me, now my recovery is healing me. It's all good.

Way to go Fitz. Now if you are a coffee drinker make sure you get a drip pot with the 'automatic' so you can set it up the night before. Nothing like waking up to the aroma of fresh brewed exotic coffee. lol
Sounds like you have your head on straight, and are taking your sobriety seriously. Good for you!!!!!
There will be times when the alligators are 'nipping' at your butt, and then you just keep trudgin, hang on to your sponsor and your sober friends and keep moving forward.
We are here for you and will walk with you in spirit.
Love and hugs,
