Beware the Ides of Room Service
Beware the Ides of Room Service
Well here I am in the world's longest hotel I think,at least the walk to my room felt like it. Up at 4:00am, 7 hours flying and called room service to order. Got my order placed and the nice lady on the phone said, want a glass of wine or a beer with that? What do they smell alcoholic through the phone? Well I settled for iced tea--two glasses. Places sure make it handy to yeild to temptation. However, surprisingly I wasn't tempted.2nd big business trip in 2 weeks, but I'm staying sober. Used togoon these business trips and never made it to the business. Donot disturb sign on the door and away I went, Anyhoo, just checking in,sane and sober from the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center. Wish you were here.

Actually, I ordered carrot cake as a reward. The ice tea cost 9 bucks. Used to be able to get half gallon of rot gut vodka for that. Looked out my widow and right down below is a big outdoor patio with a big hulking bar and dozens of people tipping and sipping. My HP has a warped sense of humor, like me. I'm praying for rain to wash themall out.:-)
