I am new here
Hi there,
this website has been reccomended to me and I thought I would check it out.
I guess I should share a little about why I'm here...
I come from a long line of alcoholics on both sides of my family. My father's addiction killed him on my 16th birthday, and I have never gotten over that.
Recent events have brought drug addicts into my life, it's a scary world for me unfolding before my eyes and I am struggling every day to understand and deal with it. I've been plunged into it head first with no experience, so every new behavior exibited by such a person in my life is a new scary event every day.
I myself am not an addict, I'm just someone who has loved them, and I'm currantly on my own road to self-descovery along side those addicts in my life, both past and present.
