Electro Shock Blues album
Electro shock blues was an album by 'The Eels' about alcoholism, suicide, and who is to blame for both. I am just curious if this album has struck any one else close to home. Understood, it came out in 1998. However, in my family, where these issues have dominated our lives, it has been an emotional resource, if not the most important album in a musically knowledgeable family.
-edit I should point out, that by the end of the album, both the alcoholic and suicide victim are wrong, because life is worth living (suicide) and experiencing (alcoholism).

HA! I assumed not. That album has such a personal attachment, and I just yesterday had an emotional volcano when it came to this subject. However, I have yet to find a better album in the last 15 years. It is probably the BEST album in my opinion due to the fact it deals with the defining moment in my life...
