Online Study of Literature

Greetings all,

Does anyone know of a place to gather and get together with those in recovery to study the literature.

Most specifically to study the steps and the traditions??

Blessed Be

It's not online, it is in church basements. Have you attended any meetings?

Hi wolf,
I remember not too long ago someone brought this up in our meeting when we had a "group conscience". Now, we study a step and its corresponding tradition the first meeting of every month .
I don't think there is a meeting SPECIFICALLY for this however...

Take care
Meg

Greetings,

Yes I have been to meetings.
I have been in going for 8 years now and have recovered.

My home group is called a literature study meetings.

We read out of an Alanon book. Every week. But sharing might or might not be about what was read. We also read allot of the books with stories.

I am most interested in reading the literature about the steps and the traditions. Where the program of recovery lies. And then actually having the meeting focus on that reading. IE readlly STUDY the literature, rather than just casually read it.

Just curious if there might be something online. I do intend to start such a meeting in my area.

Maybe also starting something here online might work as well.

Blessed Be
