I don't know how many of you have had DUIs, but I got my first one last year and I am still dealing with the consequences, although I am almost done!
Today I had my last in person meeting with my probation officer. From here on out I just fax him my AA meeting sheets.
I don't know why, but going to that courthouse and that county where I received the DUI stresses me out. I am just so relieved to have it over with.
I said the Serenity Prayer the whole way over there!!!

Yea been there, done that. Sobered me up for awhile. My wife had to drive me to AA meetings. Very deflating but I forgot and went back to old ways. Didn't get another DUI but didn't get sober either. Been living it for awhile now and I'm driving myself to meetings. Much better.
