I used to spend more time on Facebook. (Too much time.) Now I spread myself out a bit between SR, FB, Skype, etc.

I'm in the early phases of this, too, trying to gather all the info I can. A lot of it is sinking in. I think it's okay if we're on here a lot in the beginning. Just my thoughts. Okay, logging off

I find that when I'm here several times a day I'm usually staying clean and sober. When I disapear, usually I'm not doing so well. So I guess if it's an addiction, at least it's a positive one, for me at least.

Well, for sure it is a habit, and just like anything else, it can create unmanageability in my life if I hide out and stay on here in excess, neglecting my other responsibilities. At this time, I think I spend an appropriate amount of time on here so that it adds to my recovery without creating unmanageability in the rest of my life. It's all about balance!

Hey shelly009, That is a funny u say that. I just went to the store for some grocery's, came inside walking past the computer and spent at least An hour on SR walking past my kitchen i realized i did not put the grocery's away. addicted.... no not me, just an abuser.

I hope I am. For the short time I've been here, these forums/people have helped me stay focused and constantly remind me of where I came from. I also feel a sense of accountability by coming here. If I quit these forums, I think I would feel a "void" if I didn't have that sense of accountability.
