A Nice Fringe Benefit from being sober

Two weeks off booze, and today my skinny jeans fit like a glove. (And not that OJ Simpson too tight glove, either) Yes, I know I'm shallow but wow am I happy!

Closet the longer you stay sober and the more you work on your recovery, the more fringe benfits there are to sobriety. Congrats on the 2 weeks!

Does that mean you can get fat jeans as well?..

Alternate species.

That's great.

I used to hate that bloated look/feeling when I drank. That's one thing I definitely don't miss!

Another thing that happens is your skin starts looking great and for some reason you start glowing or something. I don't know, but people who don't see me in a few months are always complimenting me on how I look. And while nothing has really changed I guess sobriety just gives you that extra special glow. I mean how could so much less stress and not drinking massive amounts of alcohol not look good right?

Congratulations on your 2 weeks sober. Wait until you get that sparkle back in your eyes!!!! Skinny jeans, bah I don't think I ever fit into skinny jeans.

my wife has loads of types....these are too tight.......too lose......too long ..the "does my bum look big in these" type......
and normally after emptying the whole wardrobe.......shes got the "im going shopping" type.....
