Well, its only taken me 6 months to do --but today is 15 days sober. Still a bit "shaky" etc. but I feel so much better without the weight of lies, sneaking around to drink etc., that had become my daily life. I'm still taking baby steps--just attended an AA meeting -- but I feel I'm now on the right path. I had stopped posting here at SR after the second relapse because I felt so guilty/ashamed but I still received strength and support by reading your posts. Thank you all!!

Way to go!!! Most of us have stumbled a few times and had to get back up. I'm glad you've come back.

Way to go, you are already through the toughest period. Please continue to post and let us know how you are doing.

It is a bummer that we have a hard time posting when things are not going as planned. This really is the most important time to stay in touch.
