Sober Songs..
Sober Songs..
or I guess, songs for recovery.
I know I have some difficulty expressing emotions and feelings that come up a lot, especially being only ~3 weeks in, so I listen to a lot of music. I find that I've related to a few songs much more now that I'm sober. I'm always on the lookout for more, so I thought I'd start this and see if anyone else has some songs the associate with recovery, or just enjoy. To make it easier I've linked to YouTube so you can hear the songs, and I think that might be good thing to continue for future posts so we don't have to go all over the internet to listen to your suggestions.
Here's a couple that I listen to frequently.
Daphne Loves Derby - Cue the Sun
The Weepies - Can't Go Back Now

Ironically humorous ... I think the theme song from 'Cheers' relates to why I like AA meetings.
Reflections by Stevie Nicks reminds me to 'see' a reflection of myself in how I act.
Music is a huge recovery tool for me.

I thought you might chime in on this one.. I was actually inspired by your videos to buy a guitar. Just got it yesterday, been messing around a bit. Quite a good tool for when your mind gets going too fast and you need something to zone out with.
