Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely grateful.

AFFECTION

We all love affection. Someone who
shows how much they care or love
us. Or how much we show love and
care to anothers.

Simple words. Simple tasks. Simple
jestures. A kiss. A hug. A gift.
Flowers.

When we were drinking or drugging
we were in such a fog most of the
time or numb to feelings that simple
shows of affection had little to no
meaning to it.

Now that we r clean and sober we
can learn again how being affectionant
to anothers is important.

I myself always had a romantic view
of things inside. Because i was like
the Cinderella before she emurged
into a princess. All i could do was
wish and dream of having someone
to show lots of affection to me.

Thru drinking i had a distorted view
of what that really was. And that
wasnt real love.

Today I am truely grateful for the
gift of love and affection I recieve
daily and returning it to the ones
I love.

How awesome it is to hug someone?

How awesome it is to kiss someone?
