Today's news
Alcohol is suspected in two separate crashes late Friday night in the Yellow Quill First Nation area, one of them fatal.
Both happened around 11:30 Friday night. In one, a 20 year old man was killed when he was ejected in a single-vehicle crash 8 kilometres north of the village of Yellow Quill, north of Kelvington.
At the same time, on the same road just outside the Yellow Quill village, Greenwater RCMP say four pedestrians, two men and two teenage boys, were struck and injured. Three of them were taken to Saskatoon's Royal University Hospital, but it's not known how seriously they were hurt.
The driver, a Yellow Quill man, is charged with impaired and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
