Hello SR family I had a test today..
I take my medication my antibuse and my anti depressants at the local pharmacy This weekend is Queens birthday weekend and theres a holiday on monday so the pharmacy will be closed so they gave me 3 days worth of meds . Last night I was planning not to take my antibuse and drink I mean no one would know! Then I thought of how I am when I drink, that I dont stop till Im sick or pass out the hurt in my childrens eyes and the dreadful hangovers! So this morning I took my antibuse being so greatful that Im not this weekend going to be hopelessly drunk sick passing out and hurting my children

Ah, a wise decision. That's the trouble w/ antibuse (yeah Carol, I know. No talking about meds). You can not take it if you so choose and go out and drink. What you did was take the first little step on the road to recovery. You chose not to drink. And that, Angie, is the secet to sobriety. One day at a time, choose not to drink. I wish you the best in your recovery.
