Having been here a while now...
it's always the days right after a holiday that we'll greet and welcome a flux of new people who've realized they've got a problem and have to stop.

An open message for those of you who think that you've only got a week,
or a few days, or whatever...
and that you have nothing to offer someone
because you're too overwhelmed trying to hold on
to your own sober time for yourself -

you will have however many minutes,
hours,
days...
more than they.

I won't be back online for .. who knows this time?

SO please do me a favor...

Share that with them for me, willya?
Your time.

Share with them what you share with me every time I come here-

Let them know there's hope here at SR.
There's friends.
There's wisdom.

.. and that they're welcome here.

If you wan't walk your talk -

I'm housesitting for a friend in the Fellowship
who gave me 'the run' of the place and she'll be back today.

I would NEVER leave here
if it were possible for me to be here every day!

So do me a favor and help these folks out -
remembering how scared and shaky WE were
when we came on board.

And when I *can* get back here -
be assured ... I'll be here.
You people are my FRIENDS.
