I am staying the course of sobriety. staying with the changes. practicing more and more to not go to the hysteria of the times. My new world is one of peace, meetings, friends, music, reading, and being loving and kind. my old world was isolation, self hate, other hate, take take take.

I'm thankful for my sr friends, my aa friends, my na friends, my yoga friends, my old friends, my new frienmds, my sponsor

i'm thankful for my place on the earth and my time in history and for all my sucesses and mistakes.

i'm thankful for my sobriety and for my ever increasing desire to stay clean, and for finally having a stronger desire to stay clean than to use.

i'm thankful for the puzzle of life today. all the beautiful colors and textures that are upon each piece. each piece is awesome enough to be a perfect universe. I'm grateful that I don't need to understand "why" as often as I used to, and can practice loving the pieces simply because I choose to.
