Hi New People,
If you're new to NA and we give you our numbers to call us, we really want you to that. Call the numbers! I'm totally serious. So few newcomers that we give our numbers to ever call us. It is considered a big compliment and it is very helpful to us in our recovery to hear from you! Call the same night if you want!

One new girl that is now in my network actually called me right after a meeting. She'd seen someone stalking me in the parking lot and called to check that I was OK. This was her very first meeting of NA, and it really impressed me that she was able to step outside herself at that point and show me some concern. Since then, we've talked quite a lot and I think we help each other.

So make up an excuse if you have to. But call us! We do want to hear from you! Really!

PS: it's much easier to call if you do it right away rather than waiting a few days, so PICK UP THAT PHONE while the ink is still wet in your little blue phonebook!!!
