Day 4 of sobriety..finally a clear head
Day 4 of sobriety..finally a clear head
well I'm on my 4th day of no pot....
I was thinking about it yesterday and I was high 16 hours out of a 24 hour day for 10 months straight...not to mention every night for 14 years on top of that..that thought really blew my mind yesterday..
yesterday was real hard and I actually had a dream I got high last night..weird..today is a much better day though..I have to say thank god for this forum, its really helping me through the real bad moments..
I am finding the cravings are not lasting more than 20-30 minutes at a time which is a relief..I can get through those short bursts..its not easy but at least I know they aren't lasting all day..I also have lost about 5 pounds already cause I'm not eating like its my last meal all the time..
I just want to say thank you for all the support..

Hi LoveSong,
I just wanted to say congrats on your 4 days. I am an alcoholic so I can't directly relate to what your going through but since I have gotten sober I have met tons of folks like yourself and some have become close friends. The surprising thing is after the physical WD the mental side to all addictions seems identical.
Wishing you the best!!
