Jason's death saved a life
The other day one of my son's best friends stoped by to see me. He really looked good. He saw the picture I have hanging in my dinning room of Jason and he started to cry got me to crying too. He told me about his addiction (I knew about it) he told me since he was at the funeral home and saw Jason their he has changed his life around. He said that could have been me laying in the casket. He has been clean since then no durgs no drinking no nothing he even stopped smoking cigs. He said he thinks about Jason every day and can't believe he is gone he said he missed all the laughts they has together. He had on a sweatshirt on that Jason picked out for him.(Jason always dressed to the 9's) After he left I cried and then smiled that he saved himself from death and Jason death helped him see.

That's a beautiful story, and one way I think of Jason's spirit remaining behind in the hearts of others like his friend.
I have friends who passed away over the years and in so many ways they are still here with me. Sometimes just a song will remind me, or a rainbow, or something someone says...but whatever it is, it keeps our spirits connected.
Hugs to you for sharing this and for bringing your courage here to help others.

((((Maggie)))) It's nice that you have seen one of the people Jason has touched. I'll bet there are so many more...more than you can imagine. Many hugs and continued prayers for you and all those who miss Jason.
Maggiemac, I'm glad that one of your son's friends came and shared this with you. That's a wonderfully awesome story of how your son literally saved the life of one of his friends. Wow !!! And I'll bet that Greet is right about there probably being many more lives saved by your son, that you may or may not ever even know about.
