would dr prescribe antibuse for oxy?

My stepson went to doctor yesterday for oxycoton abuse. he told me he was prescribed antibuse. i thought this was for alcoholism. i do a lot of entertaining and have a lot of alcohol around. if he is staying here for awhile, i need to know the truth of everything. i want to help, but have real trust issues. He told me he has no alcohol problem. Should I believe?
It's all a fine line now.

How old is he cinderella?

And I just don't know - you may want to post your question in the narcotic forum.

I do not believe antabuse reacts with oxys, which is an opiate, the way it reacts with alcohol.

Antibuse is prescribed to make someone violently ill if they drink. It has nothing whatsoever to do with oxys.

Yeah, no.
Suboxone maybe, for oxy. Not antabuse.

might be thinking polysubstance abuse, alcohol as well perhaps, thus antabuse could have a place.
