I love the people here - so wonderful and strong. would really like to join the strong on this thing I am battling (sp?). anyway my job is gone is two weeks and I have a wonderful wife and 3 children (well teenagers). If anyone has ever heard the song by 'alice in chains' named Down in A Hole. Thats kind of me right now. after reading this this sounds negative. but its honest. God bless all of you.

I am sorry to hear that ...I love Alice in Chains. I love that song too. One of my fav that I play when I am feeling down.
Well the good thing about bein gin a hole is the only way is up.
I know..Probably isnt helping.
Youll be ok.
I am out of work. By my own doing. But its been over a month and I have been looking like crazy.
But I just know things will come together eventually.
It is giving me time to work and focus on myself and recovery.
Hang in there.
Try to remember whats good in your life. Like your wonderful wife and kids.

Do you have a meeting guide? There's usually some good meetings at 26th and Broadway in Santa Monica every night. There used to be an awesome meeting on Ohio Street on Wednesday nights too. On Friday nights there's two meetings I can recommend. 14th and Ocean Park at the church around 5:oo pm and a huge meeting at St Augustine's on 4th. It starts at 8 I think. Are you on the westside?
