Prayers for my town
Prayers for my town
I'm kind of shook up today. My town is all over the news this afternoon. There was a gunman. 13 have died.
Prayers for all the victims and their families.

Scaredy - Such a traggic, traggic day. No matter how hard I try to understand these violent acts of terror, there is no answer. It takes a monsters mind.
Allthough the world grieves for this, I personally know that it is more impacting when it happens within your town. 10 years ago I lived basically across the street from Columbine, lost a friend, scarred me for life.
My prayers are with you, the victims, the victims families, this country and our world! Yes and even the monster who played out the wickedness of his mind in your town today.

Barb, you can be very proud of your community today. I watched the news conference, and Mayor Ryan, the police chief, and others seem like terrific people. I was especially touched by Angela Leach, the President of the Civic Assn.'s comments. She was so heartbroken that a thing like that could happen in a place where everyone tries so hard to help make a positive difference in people's lives.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. The number is up to 14 now. The killer shot himself too.
Our town had a vigil this afternoon, and the victims names will be release later today. I'm feeling sad and depressed today. Now i know what other people mean when I've seen them on TV saying "It shouldn't of happened in our town" That's how everyone is feeling here.
