How's it going SR Family?
Hi all
Checking in again...I have been so busy these past couple days.
I've been shopping around for a couple of Scooters for my hubby and I.
Well, I found a pair and they should be here by Wednesday. Riding together is one of our favorite things to do, very therapeutic.
I failed to make an appearance yesterday and announce that I was on Day 8...now it's after midnight and I'm going into Day 9 (of course, let's not get too excited, the day has barely begun...lol).
I hope you guys are doing good...your in my thoughts, I think that is why I'm so motivated into staying sober this long.
I thank you for supporting me...
See ya later,
XOXO

Thank you for checking in. Hobbies are a wonderful way to help with sobriety. I started to crochet again and learn to knit when I got clean. I'm not very good at either but it really helps to keep me centered and maybe one day I will actually be good at it. HA HA.
Keep on, one day at a time. One minute at a time if that helps you too.

Thanks Latte,
That is one hobby that I haven't tried yet is crochet, maybe I will learn one day.
Now I have tried cross-stitching...talk about something fun and relaxing.
My passion now is paper crafting...escpecially card making.
I love the reaction on people's faces when I make things for them...very rewarding.
Thanks for your post...
Have a great "early" morning
XOXO

Glad your still going.
Cross stitching has me cross eyed. I tried a few months back. I shouldnt have picked an advanced one to try for my first time.
Lot and lots of patience for that stuff. Something I dont have yet. LOL
Scooters sound so fun. I will have me a big pimped out beach cruiser before the summer is over this year. Thats all I want. No beaches here. But there is a long river here. And lots of country roads.
Keep up the good work.

Good to see you ADAT - and scooters do sound so fun! And day 9 is awesome and I can tell you think so too!
I love hearing what people are picking up in sobriety - crochet, reading etc.. I feel like I am just getting caught up on house organizing - stacks of "to be filed" are getting filed, etc - YES..
Hey OZ - There is a great new forum on reading - Anyone a Bookworm.

Congratulations you are doing great.
I think the first few weeks a re the toughest.
Scooters sound like fun but I prefer a pedal bike . Both are dangerous on the streets of Toronto. Drivers don't like to share the raod here. Even crossing the road has it's dangers.
Someone was killed yesterday by walking into a truck while texting and crossing the street.
Don't walk and text.
