Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

Sober Recovery is a good tool to
use in ur recovery.

Think about it....No one can see
you here. We sit at our computers
and read posts and pick a topic
that catches our attention and
reply to it.

I never have to worry about embarr-
essing myself in front of others. So
Im free to share my own experiences,
strengths and hopes with others,
saying whatever i wish with keeping
in mind to be kind, openminded, and
honest with myself.

I always found it hard to share in
face to face meetings...however
i try....here i have the freedom
to share my thoughts without
the anxiety of stumbling over my
words or turning red in the face.

Try it urself but keeping it simple
at first....Don't be afraid. Just say
hello and see the responses
u recieve....
