Did you lurk before you joined or posted on SR?
So I am curious as to how many of us lurked before joining SR.
Or did you join then lurk.
What were your thoughts on what you read before joining or posting your first time.
I myself cant exactly remember. I am not a lurker much. I probably joined then read a few threads and posted. I lurk when I feel I am in a mood that will not benefit me or anyone else.
Anyone else got some feedback on this?

I lurked around here for about two weeks before I quit drinking and joined. I wanted to get a feel of this place and see if it was something I thought would be helpful and all. Once I had all my curiosities satisfied I quit drinking and joined here all in the same day and haven't looked back or regreted it.

I definitely lurked...probably for close to a year. I thought it was a great place, had several people I "clicked" with but, for some reason, didn't join until I had about six months into recovery. I probably could have saved myself a relapse if I had joined earlier

I don't know if you consider logging in as invisible lurking, but that's what I do. Love to jump out the bushes and go BOO!
Seriously, I have a good reason for staying invisible, actually has nothing to do with the guys I know here. Any of them.
