Classic Italian. Too bad I can't eat one. Weight Watchers sez I better stick with the Garden Veggie or Turkey Breast, on wheat, skip the cheese and mayo.

Boo hoo

Edit: I like the Subway Club too, but the dang bacon's also a no-no on my diet.

Turkey, no cheese, double bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo (PLENTY of pepper, some salt....) on hearty italian with Lay's chips and a diet coke.

I work tonight and you just gave me an idea for supper - I'll call ahead!

LOL Sharon you crack me up sometimes (in a good way :P )

I like the cold cut trio, all the trimmings, or what used to be called the Spicy Italian. Mayo, lettuce, tomatos, vinegar, jalapenos, onion.. Now I'm hungry and all I brought to work was a cucumber and cheese!

Italian B.M.T. on italian herb and cheese with pepperjack cheese, banana peppers, regular peppers, italian dressing, hot sauce, spinach, lettuce, S&P, toasted. B.M.T. actually stands for Brooklyn Manhattan Transit, not bigger meatier tastier or anything else. Actually was wondering and found it on their website.

However I do prefer Quiznos or Jimmie Johns over Subway. Actually Primanti Bros. would be the best n'at.

I haven't bee to Subway for awhile but the only thing I have their is the Italian BMT if they still have it. All the regular trimmings and green olives just so it is different from the rest. We had a listeria breakout here last year and I haven't eaten cold cuts since but I do miss my BMT.

Now you got me going. The candy bars I bought the other day for the local elementary school fund raiser had dollar off Subway coupons on the inside of the wrapper. Italian BMT, oil and vinegar, loaded with every other item, excepting maybe olives, they fall out. Wheat bread/swiss cheese.

Quizno's are hot sandwhiches....

Subway does toast some of theirs.

Each Wednesday my husband picks
us up a Subway on the way home
and I get to go to the website and
decide on which one i want.

Before i posted the topic, i decided
on the Italian BMT on wheat, no
cheese, spinach leaves after i read
Future22's post, tomatoes, black
olives, jalapeno's, red onions and
hot mustard.

I like all the fresh veggies they have
to offer and u can get ur sandwhich
loaded down with them....

So this Italian BMT is the first time
for me to try in just a few minutes.

Well, here in Rochester, we have DiBella's Old Fashioned Subs, and I don't actually know anyone who prefers Subway to DiBellas, even though there are a few of them around.

The thing about Dibella's, well 2 things actually, is their "secret recipe" always-just-made-fresh rolls (which are better than the Italian bread you find in a good Italian restaurant) and their "special" (also secret recipe) oil-dressing.

So anyways, my favorite:

A small on a sesame roll,
with dressing on both sides of the roll,
lettuce, tomato, a little bit of onion
roast beef and hot-ham,
provolone cheese!

YUM! YUM! YUM!

freya

.....oh, and of course, a Grandma DiBella's chocolate chip cookie for desert!
