What a difference 8 months has made
Ex-A is doing SO well in his recovery. Eight months ago, he was back in rehab for the second time in a month because his drinking was totally out of control, as was his life. He now has a new job, is going to AA meetings several times a week and looks better than he has in years. The best part of all of this is that my son now has a healthy and happy father to spend time with on the weekends.
Just thought I would post something positive. One day at a time, good things can happen. If you had told me back in January that I would be posting something like this today, I'm sure I would have laughed in your face.
Peace,
Gabe

That's really great to read, Gabe. I know exactly what you mean. Dino had so many ups and downs I wondered if the yo-yo effect was permanent. It's so thrilling when the sober/clean time is sustained.
I'm especially happy for your son. Here's praying it's forever.
Hugs,
Smoke

Hey Gabe
I am happy to hear that good news!
That is so good for your son and the fact
it has to take some of the concern away when Dad picks
him up!
again theres proof :It works if you work it !
Hugs
