Sometimes I wish...
Sometimes I wish I was as happy as I used to be before I decided alcohol was the only thing I could wake up for....
Sometimes I wish I would know the goodness inside of me that remembers when I used to wake up for life as a sober (read: regular) person...
Sometimes I wish when I am sober I could remember why I choose to be sober...
Sometimes I am happy that I stay sober...
And sometimes - just sometimes - I am happy and glad I get to wish.
