OT-for Anvilhead
Okay, so short of nailing my 20 year old's feet to the floor with her camera in hand, the only hope of pictures of my new glasses was the good old self-portrait thing.
Don't laugh or I'll be forced to beat you, okay?
Oh, and blame the peeling paint on the landlord who promised a new paint job spring of 2008.

Gosh ladies, you made me blush! *giggles*
The wild 'do' is compliments of sitting outside in the wind taking videos of daughter doing jumps on her horse today.
I didn't realize how badly I need to revisit Miss Clairol too!

Cool Freedom. You do look great!!
I got a pair of magnetic glasses that come apart at the bridge of the nose and have a band across the back of my head and when I take them off they rest on my neck. The best Christmas present I have ever gotten BTW! I have not lost them one time since I got them and it is a record for me!! I can even drive now cause I can see !!
I can't see without them but I have to take them off my face a lot because the weight makes my face hurt and I have never been able to get used to it after 40 some odd years and I can't stand to wear contacts I have tried numerous times.
I have broken or lost so many glasses from taking them off all the time at 100 bucks a pop I have done without them many times or bought dollar store ones so I could read. I feel pretty cool now too. But no pictures....

Beautiful glasses on a beautiful lady!!! I love the new glasses.
I too wear glasses, not too different from yours, but I got laughing because I am sitting here in my nightgown, no makeup, hair askew and I thought "If I took a picture right now, they'd throw me off the site"
Hugs
