Please keep my friend in your thoughts today....

I know you're not supposed to post the same message on more than one forum and I already posted on FF of alcoholics today but need all the cyber hugs I can get

This isn't related in anyway to the A in my life or alcoholism. I lost a friend today -- a colleague and a friend. She and her daughter went through the ice yesterday -- her daughter was just 10 years old. She leaves behind her husband of 18 years and their 16 year old daughter as well as many family and friends.

She was the tireless champion Executive Director of our local YWCA -- she was only 45 years old.

Please keep her family in your thoughts today.

I live in Ontario and heard this on the news this weekend. How tragic and how sad for all who loved them.

My prayers go out for these people and their families.
