Worried about my puppy...

She just went into surgery to be spayed! Unfortunately she went into heat on Thursday and is an inside dog. We had a non stop weekend trying to keep her in doggy diapers.... the diapers do not fit doxies very well. I have been washing up after and cleaning linens for the past 4 days, and at times have been frustrated, and now I feel bad.
I picture her in there having surgery and pray that everything will go well. Our dogs are like kids to us, so instead of saying we have 4 teens at home; I should say we have 7 kids at home. Our doxies even sleep in the bed with us...
I pick her up at 4:30 today!
If it's not asking too much I would like to ask that prayer's or positive thoughts go out to her.

Sending prayers!! I felt the same way when my little dog went in for her spay surgery. She has since has two surgeries for teeth extractions as she is aging, I worry so much during those days. I call the vet to check on her several times (they know me and expect this). I hope everything goes well and she is home safe and happy soon, hang in there Suzette...

She should be alright, just some routine surgery!

All the "wishing well" thoughts to your puppy!

I know it's routine surgery... I worry a little bit more because vet's didn't perform spay's on puppies in heat until more recently, for fear of hemoraging, but now they say it's no more dangerous that if they weren't in heat. I will be calling the clinic in 30 minutes.

Sending positive thoughts your way.

I was very nervous getting my cat spayed- I love my cat. She's my best friend.

Peace.

(((Suzette))) Prayers going out........

We need to have our little Missy spayed too. In the meantime we try to keep her downstairs and off the furniture. It's easy enough to keep the tile clean.

Love the avatar Trucker... soooo cute!

Sandy is out of surgery right now and all went well. I can't wait until 4:30 when we can pick her up. She needs to stay until then in case there are any complications.

I know!! I have two fluffy kids and we were anxious and worried the whole day that Peanut went in for hers. Then for 2 weeks after we checked and rechecked the cut. Oi!

(((Suzette))) - sorry I'm late on this (I've been asleep), but prayers going out for you and your puppy. I know it's routine surgery, but any time my furbabies have had to "go under", I worried, too.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

I know how close we are to our animals. My dog is an important part of my recovery. They are tough as bullets!

Thanks for being a responsible per owner.

Prayers going out to you!! I had to bring my dog home to baby diapers, but it did resolve. I am sure your pup is going to be just fine!!! It just might take a few days for the surgery to work.

I Know how you feel. I was like that when I took Bobble to get fixed. And when I went to get her she was all doped up. I felt so bad for her.
But she is back to her old cranky crazy psychotic self.

Sandy is home and fine... She is all snuggled up with my other two furbabies and me right now. She ate all of her breakfast, took her pain pill and is going to be just fine.

Thanks for caring, and helping me through a difficult day!
